The SECUR-DOR2 has been tested to STS202 BR2 and PAS 24 and has Secured by Design (SBD) approval. Specified for low to medium risk properties in the residential and social housing sector it offers protection against opportunist attempts at forced entry using a variety of hand tools. It meets BS EN 1627 RC2 standard, with tests involving a determined attack over a period of 15 minutes using tools including a screwdriver, 300mm lever and a hammer.
Note: When fitted with Vision Panels the SECUR-DOR2 security door can only be offered to a PAS 24 rating.
The SECUR-DOR3 security door has been tested to STS202 BR3 and has Secured by Design approval. It is specified for medium risk properties, which may be obscured from view, in the residential and commercial sector. It offers physical barrier protection against attempts at forced entry using heavy hand tools, where the intruder has little regard for noise. The door leaf is fitted with anti-tamper hinges and the doorframe has an Anti-Crush plate.
The SECUR-DOR3 meets BS EN 1627 RC3 standard, with tests involving a determined attack over a period of 20 minutes using tools including a hand hammer, hand drill and crowbar.
Typically specified for medium to high-risk properties in the commercial sector, the SECUR-DOR4 has been tested to BS EN 1627 RC4. The tests involve a determined attack over a period of 30 minutes using a selection of hand and battery tools including club hammer, cordless drill, cold chisel and axe.
The SECUR-DOR4 offers protection to vulnerable properties from experienced attempts at forced entry using a variety of heavy hand and battery tools or entry by explosive blasts in situations where the intruder has no regard for noise.
SECUR-DOR4 is blast tested to levels EXR2 of the BS EN 13124-2:2004 Explosion Resistance standard, with explosive blasts using plastic explosives.
The SECUR-DOR2 and SECUR3 security doors can offer up to 120 minutes fire rating if fitted with the appropriate ironmongery.
