The SPIRA 6000 SERIES - NON FIRE RATED circular metal frame and door access panel provides a permanent, discreet and decorative solution for accessing mechanical and electrical services through jointless plaster or plasterboard ceilings.
All SPIRA 6000 series panels are made to your specification, factory welded at our UK manufacturing facility in Warwickshire.
COMPOSITION
The metal frame holds a metal faced door through a bayonet lock retaining system. This system allows the door to be removed during installation or if damage occurs.
FRAME
1.2mm thick aluminium incorporating either a simulated dry wall edge bead or 25mm picture frame profile (retrofit).
Foam dust seal gaskets fitted all round.
Fully powder coated matt RAL 9010, suitable for finishing on site
DOORS
METAL DOOR (MD)
Flush metal 1.2mm thick aluminium.
Fully powder coated matt RAL 9010, suitable for finishing on site
PLASTERBOARD DOOR (PD)
9.5mm plasterboard lined 1.2mm thick electro galvanised steel white powder coat primer.
Fully powder coated matt RAL 9010, suitable for finishing on site
FRAME EDGE
The 6000-MD is available with a choice of two frame edge profiles to suit your application;
The beaded frame edge profile is suitable for ceilings where the panel is being installed prior to any tape and jointing or skim-coat plastering.
The picture frame edge profile is suitable for retro-fit to ceilings where the panel is being installed after finishing work is complete. The panel is factory finished powder coated semi-gloss white so needs no further decoration.
LOCKS
TW: TWIST LOCK
Twist open and close door mechanism with a rotating bayonet lock retaining system.
FIRE RATING
